Soundtech Mentoring Sessions

Graduates of our Soundtech 101 Workshop can continue to develop their skills by shadowing our workshop instructor: musician and professional sound tech Kimberly Sunstrum.

Kimberly runs Live Music Tuesdays at Lowertown Brewery (73 York St, Ottawa, ON) every Tuesday at 8PM. Participants who have already completed the Soundtech 101 Workshop can gain some live sound teching experience by setting up and sound teching an event alongside Kimberly.

What to expect:

  • Setup a PA system for an outdoor patio music performance (arrive an hour before performance time to set up PA)

  • Soundcheck performers

  • Mix the performance

  • Shut down and tear down PA system after the show

This is a FREE opportunity for graduates of our Soundtech 101 Workshops.

You must commit to arrive one hour before the show and stay after the show to tear down the PA system.

Participants must reserve a spot in advance. To ensure an optimal learning experience for everyone, please note that these are not drop-in sessions.

Cancellation policy:

If you can no longer attend your mentoring session, please provide 24 hours notice.
