Rock Camp for Girls+ Application Form

Rock Camp for Girls+ is a weekend-long camp where self-identified girls, two-spirit and non-binary folks aged 13-18 can learn an instrument, form a band and perform a song at a music showcase in front of family and friends!

Classes are taught by experienced Ottawa-based artists and professional musicians in small, focused groups of students. There is absolutely no musical experience necessary and we provide instruments for all participants.

Please note that all venues where Rock Camp for Girls+ will take place are physically accessible spaces.
Girls+ Rock Ottawa acknowledges that all of our activities take place on unceded, unsurrendered Algonquin territory.

To apply for Rock Camp for Girls+, please complete the form below and press 'submit'. Note that as we anticipate receiving more applications than spots at Camp, confirmation of your registration will be made via email approximately a week after application deadline.

if you identify as an Indigenous/First Nations person, please check which group you identify with:
Some of these priority groups have a unique history, identity and status in Canada, some have faced historical and/or systemic barriers, others reflect Girls+ Rock Ottawa's mandate and all are essential to the future of the arts sector. Girls+ Rock Ottawa acknowledges that there are other population groups that face barriers. We believe that the priority groups identified above are the appropriate ones for Girls+ Rock Ottawa to focus on at this time.
Due to my financial situation, I would like to be considered for a sponsored camper position.
